Contents of the Manage Estimate to Complete GLC Hours Screen

Use the fields and options to configure the Manage Estimate to Complete GLC Hours screen.

Identification

Field Description
Proj

Enter a project or click to select one. The non-editable field to the right displays the project description.

Date Updated

The information in this group box may assist you in assessing the age of the data.

Field Description
Incurred

This non-editable field displays the date on which incurred hours were updated for this project. When you run the Update Incurred Cost for ETC screen, the update date is written to the ETC Update table. This date is displayed here.

Prev Est

This non-editable field displays the date on which estimates to complete were updated based on budgeted hours for this project on the Compute Estimate to Complete screen. When you run the Compute Estimate to Complete screen, the update date is written to the ETC Update table. This date is displayed here.

Proj Totals

All fields in this group box are non-editable. To modify the data displayed, you must modify information entered in the table window.

Field Description
Incurred

The total incurred hours for all GLCs are summed here.

Est to Compl

The total estimate-to-complete hours for all GLCs are summed here.

LREAC

The total LREAC hours for all GLCs are summed here.

% Compl

The overall percent complete for all GLCs on this project is displayed here.

Prev Estimate

The total previously estimated hours for all GLCs are summed here.

Click this button to refresh the Proj Totals group box.

General Labor Category Details

Field Description
GLC

Enter a GLC or click to select a valid GLC.

Description

This non-editable field displays the description of the GLC.

Incurred

This non-editable field displays the cumulative actual hours incurred for this project and general labor category.

Est to Compl

Enter the estimate-to-complete hours for this GLC. The hours may have been calculated for you by the Compute Estimate to Complete process if you elected to update Est-to-Compl based on subtracting actual incurred from budgets. When you enter the hours, Costpoint recalculates the Latest Revised Estimate At Completion (LREAC) by adding Incurred to Est to Compl.

LREAC

Enter the LREAC hours for this GLC. These hours may have been calculated for you by the Compute Estimate to Complete process if you elected to update Est-to-Compl based on subtracting actual incurred from budgets. When you enter the hours, Costpoint recalculates the Est to Compl hours by subtracting Incurred from LREAC.

% Compl

Enter the percent complete for this GLC. The Compute Estimate to Complete screen may have calculated these hours for you, if you elected to update Est-to-Compl by subtracting actual incurred from budgets. When you enter a percentage, Costpoint recalculates the LREAC by dividing Incurred by % Compl, and recalculates the Est-to-Compl hours by subtracting Incurred from  LREAC.

Prev EAC

This field displays the previous estimate-at-completion hours updated by the Compute Estimate to Complete process. The Compute Estimate to Complete utility copies the previous hours to this field before updating with the new EAC hours.

Prev % Compl

This field displays the previous percent complete based on the previous estimate.

Budget

This field displays the total budget in hours for this project and GLC from the Manage Project Total Budget screen.

Last Update

This field displays the last time this GLC was updated with new Est-to-Compl hours, LREAC hours, or % Compl.
