Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Tasks Subtask

Use this subtask to view tasks related to the activity.

All fields on this subtask are read-only. Values come from the Tasks subtask of the Manage Activities screen or the Tasks subtask on the Activities subtask of Manage Opportunities. If you want to add or edit tasks linked to the activity, use the Manage Activities screen or the Activities subtask in Manage Opportunities.

Field Description
Task This field displays the task ID.
Task Action This field displays the action required for the task.
Due Date This field displays the due date of the task.
Status

This field displays the status of the task. Valid values include:

  • Not Started
  • In Progress
  • Completed
  • On Hold
Completed Date This field displays the date the Completed status was selected.
Owner Type

This field displays the owner type for the task. Valid values include:

  • Employee
  • Vendor
  • Customer
  • Lead
  • Other
Business ID If Owner Type is Vendor or Customer, this field displays the ID of the vendor/customer associated with the task. Regular and prospective vendors/customers can display in this field.
Business Name

If Owner Type is Vendor or Customer, this field displays the name of the vendor/customer in Business ID.

If Owner Type is Other, this field displays the business name entered on the Tasks subtask of the Manage Activities screen or the Tasks subtask on the Activities subtask of Manage Opportunities.

If Owner Type is Employee or Lead, this field is blank.

Task Owner ID

This field displays the ID of the task owner.

If Owner Type is Other, this field is blank.

Owner First Name This field displays the first name of the task owner.
Owner Last Name This field displays the last name of the task owner.
Notify Activity Owner If selected, this check box indicates that the activity owner will be notified about the task.
Notify Task Owner If selected, this check box indicates that the task owner will be notified about the task.
Additional Email Notifications If selected, this check box indicates that notifications will be sent to additional email addresses specified in the Additional Emails field.
Additional Emails This field displays additional email addresses to which notifications about the task will be sent.
Notes This field displays additional notes or comments about the task.
