Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Activate/Inactivate Organization by Module Screen

Use the fields and options to configure the Activate/Inactivate Organization by Module screen.

Modules

This table window displays all the modules available in Costpoint. When you select a module (row) in this table window, all applications available in that module displays in the Applications table window.

Use this table window to enable or disable organizational security for particular modules. If you enable organizational security for a module, organizational security is applied to all applications in the Applicationstable window that have their Apply Org Security check boxes selected. If you disable organizational security for a module, organizational security is disabled for all applications associated with that module.

Field Description
Module

This field displays the identification code for this module.

Module Name

This field displays the descriptive name for this module.

Apply Org Security

Select this check box to apply organizational security to this module.

Domain

This field displays the Costpoint domain where this module is located. The Costpoint domains are:

  • Accounting
  • Projects
  • People
  • Materials
  • Administration

Applications

This table window displays all available applications associated with the currently selected module in the Modulestable window. Use this table window to enable or disable organizational security to applications associated with that module.

Field Description
Application

This field displays the identification code for this application.

Application Name

This field displays the descriptive name for this application.

Apply Org Security

Select this check box to apply organizational security to this application.
