  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.

  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.

  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

GovWin IQ Subtask

Use this subtask to view detailed information about the opportunities imported from GovWin IQ or opportunities that are manually entered in Manage Opportunities and have a corresponding GovWin IQ opportunity ID.

You can also use this subtask to run the integration routine to GovWin IQ for a specific opportunity record. In this process, Costpoint updates the GovWin IQ information on the opportunity if the opportunity was uploaded from GovWin IQ (Record Type is GovWin IQ), or downloads GovWin IQ information for the opportunity if the opportunity was manually added to Costpoint (Record Type is Manual) and for which a GovWin IQ ID was entered after the initial creation of the opportunity in Costpoint.

Note: To import or update GovWin IQ opportunity information for a range of opportunity records, use the Import GovWin IQ Data screen.

Data that displays on this subtask is updated for an opportunity when you run the Import GovWin IQ Data application for a range of records that includes that opportunity (provided the Do Not Refresh check box is not selected for that opportunity), or when you click the Refresh from IQ button on this subtask.

Most fields on this subtask and its child subtasks are not editable as they come from GovWin IQ. Fields that are editable are indicated in the field description.

Identification

Field Description
Opportunity ID This field displays the opportunity ID from the main screen of Manage Opportunities.
Name This field displays the short name of the opportunity from the main screen of Manage Opportunities.
Record Type

This field displays the record type from the main screen of Manage Opportunities. Valid values are:

  • Manual: This indicates that the opportunity was manually added to Costpoint using Manage Opportunities.
  • GovWin IQ: This indicates that the opportunity was added through the GovWin IQ integration.
Refresh from IQ Click this button to run the integration routine to GovWin IQ for this opportunity record. This button is enabled only when the Do Not Refresh check box is not selected. For manually entered GovWin IQ records, review the help description for the GovWin IQ ID field.
Do Not Refresh Select this check box if you do not want to update this opportunity record when the GovWin IQ integration process is run. Selecting this check box also disables the Refresh from IQ button. You can select or clear this check box at any time.

General

Field Description
Last GovWin IQ Synch This field displays the date that this record was last updated by the GovWin IQ integration process in Costpoint.
Last GovWin IQ Analyst Update This field displays the date that an update was made to the opportunity record in GovWin IQ.
Program Name This field displays the opportunity name in GovWin IQ.
GovWin IQ ID

If the opportunity was created by importing a GovWin IQ opportunity (Record Type is GovWin IQ), this field is disabled and displays the unique identifier for the GovWin IQ opportunity, which includes a three-character prefix that identifies the GovWin IQ opportunity type. The options are:

  • OPP: Opportunity
  • BID: Bid
  • TNS: Toons
  • FBO: Federal Business Opportunities

If the opportunity is created using the Manage Opportunities screen (Record Type is Manual), you can manually enter the GovWin IQ ID for this opportunity record. Make sure to enter a valid GovWin IQ ID along with the correct GovWin IQ prefix type (for example, OPP147837).

Acronym This field displays the acronym for the opportunity in GovWin IQ.
Department This field displays the governmental department to which the opportunity belongs.
Agency This field displays the governmental agency to which the opportunity belongs.
Current Status This field displays the opportunity's status in GovWin IQ (for example, Pre-RFP or Awarded). The status identifies which phase the procurement is in during the acquisition cycle.

Field Description
Solicitation Number This field displays the request for proposal (RFP) number for the opportunity as transferred from GovWin IQ.
IQ Opportunity Link This field displays the web site address of the agency associated with the opportunity.
Estimated Value This field displays the potential value of the opportunity, in thousands, as transferred from GovWin IQ.
Duration This field displays the total duration of time that the opportunity is expected to span, as transferred from GovWin IQ.
Competition Type This field displays the competition type of the opportunity, as transferred from GovWin IQ.
IQ Contract Type This field displays the contract type of the opportunity, as transferred from GovWin IQ.
NAICS Code This field displays the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of the opportunity as it displays in GovWin IQ.
Primary Offering This field displays the primary type of firm that should respond to the opportunity, such as Professional Services, IT Management Consulting, or Research and Development.
Comments This field displays the comments entered for the opportunity in GovWin IQ.
Summary This field displays the summary of the opportunity, as transferred from the Program Description section in GovWin IQ.
Potential Bidders This field displays the other competitors for the opportunity, as transferred from the Potential Participants section in GovWin IQ.
Procurement Activity This field displays notes about the status of the opportunity, as transferred from the Procurement Activity section in GovWin IQ.
Program Description This field displays a full description of the opportunity (including Summary, Background, Requirements, and Funding/Contract Value), as transferred from the Program Description section in GovWin IQ.
