Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Tax Accounts Subtask

Use the Tax Accounts subtask for the View Tax Reporting Status by Transaction screen or the View Tax Reporting Status by Tax Account screen to mark tax transactions from the main screen that were included in previous value added tax (VAT) reports but which should not be included in future VAT reports.

This subtask displays the following fields from the tax account transactions for the invoice or voucher selected in the main screen:

  • Tax Return
  • Account
  • Account Name
  • Organization
  • Organization Name
  • Cost Amount
  • Recovery Amount
  • Use Tax Amount
  • Recovery Account
  • Recovery Account Name
  • Recovery Organization
  • Recovery Organization Name
  • Recovery Suspense Account
  • Recovery Suspense Account Name
  • Recovery Suspense Organization
  • Recovery Suspense Organization Name
  • Intrastat Start Date
  • Intrastat End Date
  • Intrastat Report Flag

Many of the fields in the preceding list are display-only, but you can enter or change information in the following fields:

Field Description
Tax Return

The default for this column is N (No). Change it to Y (Yes) if you want to include the transaction on a future VAT report.

Intrastat Start Date

Enter the start date of the Intra EU Trade Statistics Report on which the transaction was included.

Intrastat End Date

Enter the end date of the Intra EU Trade Statistics Report on which the transaction was included.

Intrastat Report Flag

Select this check box if the transaction was included on a final version of the Intra EU Trade Statistics Report. Leave this box cleared if the transaction was included only on a preliminary version.

Update All

Click Update All to set Tax Return to Y (Yes) for all rows.

Clear All

Click Clear All to set Tax Return to N (No) for all rows.

Update Highlighted

Click Update Highlighted to set Tax Return to Y (Yes) for all rows that are currently selected in the table window.

Clear Highlighted

Click Clear All to set Tax Return to N (No) for all rows that are currently selected in the table window.
