Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Manage Organization Structures

Use this screen to set up "top-level" organizations.

Each organization with a unique first level can have unique structure names and level names.

For example, you could establish two organizations with the following structures:

  • Organization 1 — XX.XXXX.XXX
  • Organization 2 — XX.XXXXX.XXXX.XX

The size of the first (or top) level of all organizations must match the size defined on the Configure General Ledger Settings screen. You can only generate combined reports for organizational elements that share the same first level. Therefore, if you need to print company-wide reports, set up only one organization on this screen.

You must set up the top level before you can set up additional levels of an organizational structure. In general, the higher levels must exist before you can add lower levels.
