Transaction No Non-Contiguous Ranges Subtask

Use this subtask to create a non-contiguous range of transaction numbers to process. This subtask is available only if you selected the Non-Contiguous Ranges check box on the main screen.

You can create a non-contiguous range that consists of multiple contiguous ranges of transaction numbers, single transaction numbers, or a combination of both.

Transaction No Non-Contiguous Ranges

Click on the table window toolbar to activate a row in the table. You enter multiple rows to make up a non-contiguous range of transaction numbers.

Field Description
Range Type

From the drop-down list, select a range type for the range of transaction numbers.

The options are:

  • One: Select one transaction number in the Starting Transaction Number field. The Ending Transaction Number field is disabled for this option.
  • Range: Enter a range of transaction numbers by entering a transaction number in the Starting Transaction Number and Ending Transaction Number fields.
  • From Beginning: You specify a range that starts at the beginning of all available transaction numbers and ends with the transaction number that you enter in the Ending Transaction Number field.
  • To End: You specify a range that starts with the transaction number that you enter in the Starting Transaction Number field and ends with the last of all available transaction numbers.
Starting Transaction Number

Click on the table window toolbar to select a starting transaction number for the range.

This field is available only if you selected One, Range, or To End in the Range Type field.

Ending Transaction Number

Click on the table window toolbar to select an ending transaction number for the range.

This field is available only if you selected One, Range, or From Beginning in the Range Type field.
