Manage Customer Types

Use this screen to set up the valid customer types for your business. You can sort by customer type when you print sales reports and receivable reports.

You must enter customer types on this screen before you set up the customer tables on the Manage Customers screen.

Warning: If you try to delete a customer type that has already been used in the customer tables, you will receive a database error message that will say that the record cannot be deleted because dependent data exists. You cannot make changes to existing customer types that have been assigned to a customer.
