Contents
Use the fields in this group box to set up how Costpoint should handle opportunity IDs.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Auto-assign Opportunity IDs | Select this check box to have Costpoint automatically assign an ID to any new opportunity record. |
Last Opportunity ID |
Enter the last opportunity ID used. You must enter a value in this field if you select the Auto-assign Opportunity IDs check box. This field defines the starting point for Costpoint-generated opportunity IDs. Costpoint uses this field to automatically number all opportunity IDs. You can use a combination of alphabetic characters and numbers for opportunity IDs, but Costpoint increments only the rightmost numeric value. Make sure you enter enough numeric digits at the end of the ID as this determines the number of opportunity IDs that Costpoint can generate/increment. You can enter up to 15 numeric digits in this field. |
Initial Stage to assign to new Opportunity records |
Enter, or click to select, the stage code you want to assign to new opportunity records. Only those stage codes that exist and have the Show in Lookup check box selected on the Manage Opportunity Stages screen can be entered or selected in this field. When you select a stage code, the stage code description displays in the field to the right. |
GovWin IQ Login Account (Tenant ID) | Enter, or click to select, the tenant ID that contains the login information that you want to use for importing opportunities from GovWin IQ. |

The values in these fields are updated by the Update Project Status Report Tables application if the fiscal year, period, and subperiod selected in Update Project Status Report Tables are later than what exist in Configure Opportunity Settings, but can be modified.
