Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Approval Entity Fields Subtask

Use this subtask to define entity fields, which are the actual object of approval in the workflow model.

Field Description
Entity Field Name Enter the entity field name. It is recommended that you enter a descriptive name so approvers can easily understand its meaning when they see it in the notification email.
Data Type Select the data type of the entity field from the drop-down list. Valid options are:
  • Text
  • Number
  • Date
  • Current User
Include in Email Select this check box to include the entity field values in notification emails.
Matched Role Filter Field Enter, or click to select, the role filter field to map to the entity field.
Filter Field Data Type This field displays the data type of the role filter field. Entity data types and filter field data types must match.

After you have accomplished this subtask, use the Approval Screen Fields subtask of the Application Screens subtask to match approval entity fields to approval screen fields.
