Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Import/Export Subtask

Use this subtask to export approval workflow models to an XML definition file or import data from it.

This subtask has two tabs:

  • Import: Use this tab to import approval workflow data from an XML definition file.
  • Export: Use this tab to export approval workflow data to an XML definition file.

Both tabs store and retrieve the definition file from the Costpoint database file location that is accessible from the Process menu (Process > File Upload or Process > File Download). Exported files are visible in the storage and you can download it from there to your workstation. To import a file into a new model, you first have to upload the file to Costpoint.

Note: To upload and download XML files to Costpoint database storage, you first need to add the XML file extension to the File Upload Limits table on the Configure System Settings screen.
