Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Manage Message Boards Screen

Use the fields and options to configure the Manage Message Boards screen.

Field Description
Message Board Name

Use this field to enter a unique name for the message board.

Description

Use this field to enter a brief description of the message board.

Status

Use this drop-down list to specify the current status of the message board. Select one of the following options:

  • Active: Select this option if the message board is fully functional.
  • Inactive: Select this option if the message board cannot be seen or used.
  • Read Only: Select this option if the message board is visible but cannot accept new entries.
Apply User/User Group Access Rights

Select this check box if you want to assign custom access rights to message board topics. Clear this check box to indicate that standard application/module rights are valid for all message board topics.
