Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Non-Contiguous Asset List Subtask

Use the fields in this subtask to select one or more asset records to include for asset master export and disposal record generation via the Export Asset Records application.

You can add rows in this subtask to specify combinations of individual asset numbers and item numbers and/or ranges of numbers to include in the process. You can also populate the table by pushing the Update List with Results button in the Asset Selection tab or by retrieving a saved batch using the Batch ID group box on the Export File Details tab.

Field Description
Range Option

Select an option from the drop-down list to define the range of asset numbers and item numbers to include in the process. Valid values are:

  • One: This option enables you to enter, or click to select, a Starting Asset No and Item No.
  • Range: This option enables the Start and End fields, in which you enter values defining the range of assets.
  • From Beginning: This option disables the Start fields. Enter, or click to select, the last value of the range of numbers to include in the process in the Ending Asset No and Item No fields.
  • To End: This option disables the End fields. Enter, or click to select, the first value of the range of numbers to include in the process in the Starting Asset No and Item No fields.

By using theRange Optiondrop-down list and the Start andEnd fields for Asset No and Item No, you can specify the following combinations of asset records to include for the export process:

  • a single range of asset and item numbers
  • multiple non-contiguous ranges
  • a list of one or more individual records

Enter, or click to select, the table row’s starting asset number to include in the process.

Starting Item No

Enter, or click  to select, the table row’s starting item number to include in the process.

Ending Asset No

Enter, or click to select, the table row’s ending asset number to include in the process.

Ending Item No

Enter, or click to select, the table row’s ending item number to include in the process.
