Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Instance Objects Subtask

Use this subtask to view and edit interface objects that are available to be processed for the selected interface ID.

After you enter values in the Interface ID and Instance ID fields, Costpoint automatically populates the fields and check boxes in this subtask. You can include or exclude specific objects from the given process and override the default processing settings for each object ID. If you have set up the Email group box in the Configuration tab, you can also override default primary and/or secondary email addresses.

Details

This group box displays an object's identification code, description, and sequence number.

Field Description
Object ID

This field displays this object's identification code. The field to the right displays the descriptive name for this object ID.

Sequence

This field displays this object's sequence number. This value determines which object ID takes precedence.

Parameter ID Required

This check box indicates if this object ID requires a supplemental parameter. If this object ID needs a supplemental parameter, this check box is selected. Otherwise, this check box is cleared.

Parameter

Use this field to enter, or use binoculars.gif to select, the supplemental parameter for this object ID.

Email

Use this group box to override the primary and secondary email addresses specified in the Email group box of the Configuration tab.

Send to Primary Email Address

Select this check box to send interface information to your primary email address.

Email Address

Use this field to enter a valid email address to serve as your primary email address.

Send to Secondary Email Address

Select this check box to send interface information to your secondary email address.

Email Address

Use this field to enter a valid email address to serve as your secondary email address.

Mapping

This group box displays the underlying functional units that the integration process uses to process the interface instance.

Field Description
Last Processed

This field displays the last date on which this object instance was successfully processed.

Prep Map

This field displays the prep map code.

EVM Map

This field displays the EVM map code.

OTM Map

This field displays the OTM map code.

FTM Map

This field displays the FTM map code.

Options

Use this group box to specify additional options for this object.

Field Description
Active

Select this check box to enable this object for processing.

Record Warning

Select this check box to record warning messages for this object. The warning messages are recorded in a warnings report that is sent to the users specified in the Email group box.

Allow Additions

Select this check box to allow new records to be added to the target system for this object when you execute this interface instance.

Allow Changes

Select this check box to allow modification of existing records in the target system for this object when you execute this interface instance.

Audit

Select this check box to enable audit processing for this object.

Note: Selecting the Audit On check box in the Interfaces tab automatically selects this option for all objects in the selected interface instance.
Trace

Select this option to enable data tracing for this object.

Note: Selecting the Trace On check box in the Interfaces tab automatically selects this option for all objects in the selected interface instance.
