Contents of the Purge Audit File Data Screen

Use the fields and options to configure the Purge Audit File Data screen.

Option

This field always displays One.

Start

Enter, or click to select, the ending date for records to be purged. All audit trail information for entries made to the selected table on or before this date is purged from the table.

Audit File

Use this group box to select the particular audit trail table to purge. In the case of Payroll Edit Table and Employee Earnings, the application purges all subtask tables as well. To include a particular table, select the corresponding option. You can purge only one table (with its subtasks) at a time.

Use the drop-down list to select the tables you want to purge. Valid options are:

  • Basic Employee Info: Select this option to include Basic Employee Info audit trail information in the purge.
  • Salary Info and History: Select this option to include Salary Info and History audit trail information in the purge.
  • Payroll Taxes: Select this option to include Employee/Payroll Taxes audit trail information in the purge.
  • Employee Bank Info: Select this option to include Employee Bank Info audit trail information in the purge.
  • Payroll Deductions: Select this option to include Payroll Deductions audit trail information in the purge.
  • Payroll Contributions: Select this option to include Payroll Contributions audit trail information in the purge.
  • Payroll Edit Table: Select this option to include Payroll Edit Table audit trail information in the purge.
  • Employee Earnings: Select this option to include Employee Earnings audit trail information in the purge.
  • Employee Bond Info: Select this option to include Employee Bond information in the purge.

Click to activate the purging process.
