Use the fields and options to configure the Manage Tax File Data screen.
Identification
Field | Description |

Taxable Entity Code |
Enter, or click to select, the taxable entity ID for which the MMREF record is being created. Taxable entity IDs and information are entered on the Configure Company Information screen. |
Preparer Code |
From the drop-down list, select one of five options to indicate how this MMREF record was created. Valid options are:

Kind of Employer |
From the drop-down list, select the option which best describes the type of employer you are. Valid options are:
Note: This field does not apply to Puerto Rico employers.

Contact Information
Use this group box to enter contact information that is used by the Social Security Administration and/or other organizations that may have questions or processing problems.

Contact Name |
Enter the name of the person or organization that can be contacted regarding this record. |
Job Title |
Enter the job title of the contact person for this record. |
Phone Number |
Enter the phone number of the contact person or organization. |
Extension |
Enter the phone extension number of the contact person or organization. |
Fax |
Enter the fax number of the contact person or organization. |
Enter the email of the contact person or organization. |
