  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Toolkit Screen

Use the Toolkit to complete the required post-installation step for version 8.1.

Post Upgrade Co-Deployed Section

If you have successfully installed version 8.1 and also have a co-deployed installation, check boxes on the left-hand side of the screen are pre-selected and no changes are required.

You will run the Toolkit to accomplish the following:

  • Transfer existing values from the Time & Expense tables to the appropriate tables in Costpoint, where columns were added on the backend to store the data.
  • Transfer Functional Roles (UDT02_SPVSRs) to Costpoint.
  • Updates the overtime pay types in the Pay Types Links subtasks of the Timesheet Classes screen.

To run the Toolkit, click the Process menu and select Action Menu > Execute Toolkit.

Note: The above task is a one-time requirement following the upgrade to version 8.1, and the Toolkit is designed to process the selected settings only a single time. If you re-run the Toolkit with the same settings selected, the utility produces an error message stating that the process failed. This occurs because the utility cannot run if the settings were already successfully processed.
Field Description
Post Upgrade Co-Deployed This check box displays the current status of your Time & Expense system. Leave this check box selected if you are completing the post-upgrade step following the installation of version 8.1.
Transfer TE Specific Data to Costpoint Tables
Note: Each label that pertains to a Time & Expense UDT indicates the source table in T&E and the destination table in Costpoint. The UDT fields that display in your application are those that are selected for use on the Labels subtask of Time & Expense > Configuration > General Controls > General Settings, excluding UDTs 12-15 which are not integrated with Costpoint.

Leave the following check boxes selected if you are completing the post-upgrade step following the installation of version 8.1.

  • TE UDT02 to CP PROJ and CP MO HEADER
  • TE UDT06 to CP GENL_LAB_CAT
  • TE UDT07 to CP BILL_LAB_CAT
  • TE UDT08 to CP WORK_COMP
  • TE UDT10 to CP PAY_TYPE
  • Update Timesheet Class UDT10CS
  • Migrate Functional Roles to Costpoint

Pre-Standalone Process Section

The section on the right-hand side of the screen will in the future provide the ability to reverse the integration (go from co-deployed to stand-alone) and transfer data from Costpoint to Time & Expense. This area is still under development and is not used at this time.
