Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

UDT09 Direct and Wildcard Links Subtasks

Use the UDT09 Direct and Wildcard Links subtasks of the Manage UDT01S screen to add and/or delete UDT09 links.

If Time & Expense is co-deployed with Costpoint, the Direct Links subtask is read-only and modifications must be made directly within Costpoint.

Each link tab displays a table of the linked items of the current UDT01. Different column headings and data display in the table, depending on whether you are using Direct or Wildcard links.

Note: The Direct Link or Wildcard subtasks display conditionally, depending on how link options are set on the UDT options tab of Configuration > General Controls > Configure General Settings. For example, if the UDT is configured as a direct link, the subtasks related to Wildcards do not display, or conversely, if configured as Wild Card, the Direct Links subtasks do not display.

Field Description
UDT09 This column displays the currently linked UDT09s.
UDT09 Description This column displays the currently linked UDT09 descriptions.

UDT09 Wildcard Links Subtask

Field Description
UDT01 This column displays the currently linked UDT01.
UDT09 This column displays the currently linked wildcard UDT09s.
Options Click Options to display additional wildcard examples.
