Exercise caution when computing revenue for closed fiscal years. Although the Compute Revenue process does not prevent you from computing revenue, you should be aware that computing revenue could change the underlying data in the tables for a closed fiscal year. The data in these tables has been used for end-of-year reporting.

Generally, corrections to closed fiscal years are made in the first available period in which the error is discovered.
