Contents of the View Items Screen
Use the fields and options to configure the View Items screen.

Field | Description |

Item |
Enter, or click to select, an item ID for which information is required. |
Rev |
Enter, or click to select, the revision of the item. If you selected the Allow Multiple Revisions For Each Item check box in the Corporate Settings block on the Configure Product Definition Settings screen, you can retrieve multiple revisions of the same item. If you did not select the Allow Multiple Revisions For Each Item check box, you can retrieve only the last revision of the item. |
U/M |
This field displays the unit of measure after an Item ID and Rev is entered. |
Item/Desc Match |
Use the drop-down list to make a selection. Valid options are:

Make/Buy |
From the drop-down list, select either make or buy items. If this is left blank, both are selected. |
Description |
This field displays the item description. |
Type |
From the drop-down list, select the item type or leave blank for all. Valid options are:

Commodity |
Enter, or use to select, a specific commodity code for which to search. The description of the commodity code selected displays. |
NSN |
Enter the national stock number of the selected item, if applicable. |
Status |
From the drop-down list, select Active or Inactive items. If this field is left blank, both active and inactive items are retrieved. |
Product Class |
Enter, or use to select, a specific product class. A product classification is a detailed grouping of items within a product type. The product class description is also displayed. |
Mil-Spec |
Enter the military specification number of the selected item, if applicable. |
Planner |
Enter, or use to select, a planner on which to search. |
Buyer |
Enter, or use to select, a buyer ID on which to search. |

Item |
This column displays the item ID for the selected items from the search. |
Rev |
This column displays the revision of the item. |
Item Description |
This column displays the description of the item. |
Part Security |
This field is visible only if the Use Part Data Security Controls check box is selected on the Configure Product Definition Settings screen, which indicates that the item is subject to data security restrictions, as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). If enabled, this field displays one of the following values to indicate whether the item you are accessing is subject to part data security restrictions and whether you have the necessary authorization to access information for that part:
Note: The features in this release relating to Part Data Security are intended to assist your company in achieving ITAR compliance. However, it is each company’s responsibility to confirm that it is meeting its obligations with respect to ITAR or other applicable requirements. Deltek does not warrant that use of this functionality will result in compliance.

Item Type |
This column displays the item type: P (Part), G (Good), or S (Service). |
U/M |
This column displays the unit of measure of this item. |
Make/Buy |
This column displays whether the item is an M (Make) or B (Buy) item. |
Commodity |
This column displays the commodity code associated with the item. |
Product Class |
This column displays the product class associated with the item. |
Prod Type |
This column displays the product type associated with the item. |
Buyer |
This column displays the buyer ID associated with the item. |
Planner |
This column displays the planner assigned to the default commodity or overridden on the Planning Details subtask of the Manage Parts screen for this item. |
Active |
This column displays Y (Yes) or N (No) to indicate the active status of the item. |
NSN |
This field displays the national stock number for the selected item. |
Mil-Spec |
This field displays the military specification number for the selected item. |
UPC |
This optional field displays the Uniform Product Code (UPC) for the item. You can assign this value to the item on the Additional Item Codes subtask of the screen in which the item was established. |
Industry Class |
This optional field displays the industry classification code along with its description for the part, good, or service. You set up industry classification codes on the Manage Industry Classifications screen, and assign them to the item on the Additional Item Codes subtask of the screen in which the item was established. |
NAICS Code |
This field displays the NAICS code for the selected item. |
Selling U/M |
This field displays the selling unit of measure for this item, if one has been assigned on the Units of Measure subtask of the Manage Parts screen. |
Model Number |
This field displays the model number for this item. |
Selling Description |
This field displays the selling description for this item. |
Last ECN |
This field displays the last ECN for this item. |
