Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Select End Item Configuration Subtask of Manufacturing BOM

Use this subtask to view the range of assembly serial numbers with their associated configurations and as-of dates.

See the Manage End Item Configurations screen for configurations that were already set up.

If you select a row, Costpoint loads the proper configuration and as-of date. This field is non-editable; you cannot enter a serial number. Effectivity is established by the Config ID and As Of Date fields only.

Table Window

Field Description
As of Date

This column displays the MBOM component effective date, as entered on the Configuration subtask.

Configuration

This column displays the MBOM component effective date, as entered in the Configuration screen.

Starting Serial No

This column displays the starting serial numbers of assembly serial numbers with their associated configurations and as-of dates.

Ending Serial No

This column displays the ending serial numbers of assembly serial numbers with their associated configurations and as-of dates.

Load Configuration

Click this button, after selecting a row in the table window, to load the proper configuration and as-of date.
