Alternate Parts Subtask
Use the Alternate Parts subtask to view the list of alternate parts by manufacturer and vendor for the selected component.
Establish and maintain standard alternate parts on the Manage Alternate Parts screen. Assign provisional alternate parts on the Manage Provisional Parts screen.
Table Window
If the component part contains alternate part information already established on the Manage Alternate Parts screen (for standard component parts) or on the Manage Provisional Parts screen (for provisional component parts), the information defaults into this table window.

| Sequence |
The sequence number indicates the line number in which the line appears on the Manage Alternate Parts screen. |
| Manufacturer |
The manufacturer ID of the alternate part for the component displays in this field. |
| Manufacturer Name |
The name of the manufacturer of the alternate part displays in this field. |
| CAGE |
This field displays the Commercial and Government Entity code (CAGE ID) of the assigned manufacturer. Assign CAGE IDs on the Manage Manufacturers screen. |
| Manufacturer Part |
This field displays the manufacturer part ID of the alternate part. |
| Manufacturer Rev |
This field displays the manufacturer revision for the part. |
| Preference Type |
This field displays the part preference type for this alternate part from the Manage Part Preference Types screen. |
| Preferred |
This field indicates whether the alternate part is preferred (Y) or not (N). Only one alternate part can be preferred. |
| Vendor |
This field displays the vendor ID assigned to the alternate part. |
| Vendor Name |
This field displays the vendor name for the vendor ID. |
| Vendor Part |
The part ID of the vendor part is displayed in this field. |
| Vendor Rev |
The revision of the vendor part is displayed in this field. |
| Company |
This field displays the name of the company who will use this part. |
