Use the fields and options to configure the Manage Rehire Eligibility Codes screen.

Field Description
Rehire Eligibility Code

Enter up to 35 characters that uniquely identify and represent the rehire eligibility. If you use Deltek Talent Management, you must specify a rehire eligibility code in the Employment History subtask after you assign a termination date to the employee. If you do not use Deltek Talent Management, the rehire eligibility code is optional.

Rehire Eligibility Description

Enter up to 255 characters to describe the rehire eligibility code.

Eligible for Rehire

From the drop-down list, select the value which indicates the rehire eligibility represented by the rehire eligibility code. Valid options are:

  • Yes: Select this value if terminated employees with this Rehire Eligibility Code are eligible for rehire without any conditions.
  • No: Select this value if terminated employees with this Rehire Eligibility Code are not eligible for rehire.
  • Eligible for Re-Hire (Conditional): Select this value if terminated employees with this Rehire Eligibility Code are conditionally eligible for rehire.

If you are using Deltek Talent Management, the rehire eligibility type that has been linked to the terminated employee’s rehire eligibility code will be exported to Deltek Talent Management along with the employee’s termination date and other offboarding information.

Inactive Date

Enter, or click to select, the date on which the rehire eligibility code becomes inactive and can no longer be assigned to an employee. The rehire eligibility code cannot be assigned to an employee if his/her termination date occurs after the specified date in this field.
