Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Browser Access

The following features are available when you use Costpoint on a browser:

  • Use of all the Costpoint modules to which you have access rights.
  • The option to use Costpoint as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on your desktop or mobile device. When Costpoint runs as a PWA, you can quickly access all modules and update your Costpoint on a mobile device. Besides tablets and mobile phones, you can also deploy Costpoint as a PWA on desktops.

The Costpoint Time and Expense mobile app and Costpoint PWA also share some mobile features.

An overview of progressive web applications and the steps on deploying Costpoint as a PWA on Android devices, iOS devices, and desktops are detailed in this section. Functionalities available only in the PWA are included in this section as well.
