Query an existing record or add a new record on the main screen of Manage Opportunity Business Units to display this subtask. You can link multiple organizations to a single business unit, but you cannot link a single organization to multiple business units. If you try to link an organization that is already linked to a business unit, Costpoint displays an error message.

Only organizations that belong to the company of the logged-in user can be linked to a business unit.

Another way to link business units and organizations in Costpoint is through the Link Organizations subtask (also on the Manage Opportunity Business Units screen). With the Link Organizations subtask, you can use wildcard characters to link the business unit to multiple organizations simultaneously.

Table Window

Use this table window to add or view business unit/organization combinations. Click New to add a new line.

Field	Description
Organization	If you are adding business unit/organization combinations, enter, or click to select, the organization you want to link to the business unit.
Org Name	This field displays the name of the selected organization.
Org Abbrev	This field displays the abbreviation of the selected organization.
