Component Text Subtask

Use this subtask to attach standard text notes to the selected component in the Manage Engineering Bills of Material screen. You can do this manually or by clicking Autoload.

Field	Description
Sequence	Enter a sequence number to determine the printing order for this text code. When you click , Costpoint automatically assigns a sequence number to the new line. You can edit this number as you prefer.
Text Code	Enter, or use to select, the text code you want to assign to the component part.
Rev	Enter, or use to select, the revision of the standard text code.
Description	Enter, or use to select, a description of the text code. This field also displays the description of the selected Text Code field.
Text Active	If selected, this check box indicates that the standard text code/revision combination is currently active.
Document Print Option	This field displays the document print option, which shows the types of documents in which the text will print. the various options are: I: Internal E: External B: Both
Autoload	Click this button to load any additional item text that may have been added after the initial autoload of text codes available for the bills of material (BOM) set on the Where-Used subtask of the Manage Standard Text screen in Costpoint Product Definition.
