  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Manage Cobra Cost Templates Screen

Use the fields and options to configure the Manage Cobra Cost Templates screen.

Identification

Use the fields in this group box to enter a template ID and template name. Costpoint uses templates to map Costpoint pools and COM to Cobra results. These templates are used on the Manage Cobra Extraction Parameters screen, in which you can assign specific Costpoint projects or Cobra projects to use specific charge templates, resource templates, and cost templates during the extraction process. This allows you to customize the relationship between sets of Cobra projects and the Costpoint projects. You can set up as many templates as needed on this screen.

Field Description
Template ID

Enter an identification code for this template.

Template Name

Enter a descriptive name for this Template ID. This template name displays in the drop-down list on the Manage Cobra Extraction Parameters screen.

Auto Load

Click this button to automatically load the default values in the Cost Mapping table window.

Cost Mapping

Use this table window to map Costpoint values to Cobra results. You can select Pools or COM in the CP Value Type column and enter the Costpoint values in the Costpoint Values column. You can click binoculars.gif to enter the Cobra results if you have established a database connection on the Configure Cobra Interface Settings screen.

Field Description
CP Value Type

From the drop-down list,  select a value type. Select POOL for an indirect cost pool or COM for cost of money. HOURS and DIRECT automatically display in this column and cannot be changed. Map these rows to the same Cobra result if they are available.

Costpoint Values

Enter, or click binoculars.gif to select, pool numbers or COM pool numbers. You can use wildcards in this field. The type of value depends on your selection in the CP Value Type field.

Cobra Results

Enter, or click binoculars.gif to select, the Cobra results value. binoculars.gif and field validation are available only if you entered the database connection information on the Configure Cobra Interface Settings screen. The labels for HOURS and DIRECT are automatically displayed, but can be changed if the Cobra system uses a different label. HOURS and DIRECT are the default labels in Cobra.

Note: To prevent indirect information from being broken out separately in the .csv file, the indirect pools and COM can be mapped to the same Cobra result as the direct costs from Costpoint.
