UDT02S

Use this screen to maintain UDT02 records in stand-alone Time & Expense installations, or in co-deployed installations, to view data that populates from directly from Costpoint.

When Time & Expense is co-deployed with Costpoint, the majority of fields on this screen populate directly from Costpoint and are display-only. Note also that records cannot be added, copied, or deleted. Depending on how your company uses UDT02, records and field values can be modified from one of the following Costpoint screens:
  • Projects > Project Setup > Project Master > Manage Project User Flow
  • Materials > Production Control > Manufacturing Orders > Manage Manufacturing Orders
Note: This field is the Project Number and is linked to UDT01. Only charges that require projects use this field. You cannot delete (stand-alone only) a project that is being used on a timesheet line, an expense report, or an expense authorization.

Additional Notes for Stand-Alone Installations

If you version of Time & Expense is not co-deployed with Costpoint, note the following:
  • The records that display and whether you have rights to save or delete them, depends on how your Security Role and Functional Role are set up.
  • If you add a new UDT02, subtasks are not available until you save screen entries. When the UDT02 is saved, if your Security Role has the Apply Charge Level Security check box selected, a primary administrator function is added.
