UDT10CS Links Subtask

Use the UDT10CS Links subtask to manage the pay types available to the selected timesheet class.

Field Description
UDT10CS

This field displays the UDT10CS pay type. Only UDT10CS pay types linked to the selected timesheet class appear in the table.

Description

Click to select a description of the UDT10CS pay type from the Lookup. You cannot edit this description here.

Allow Lookup

Click this check box to indicate whether or not the UDT10CS pay type link should display in the Lookup for this timesheet class.

Allow Manual Entry

Click this check box to indicate whether or not the employees of this timesheet class can manually enter a UDT10CS pay link on their timesheet.  

Overtime Type
For overtime pay types, this field displays whether the pay type is Level 1 or Level 2. This field is editable only for overtime pay types. The value that displays when you initially select the pay type here is designated in the UDT 10 screen. If you change the level here, it does not update the pay type. The change applies only to the selected timesheet class.
Note: When Time & Expense is co-deployed with Costpoint the overtime factor that determines whether the pay type is Level 1 or Level 2 is located in Costpoint > People > Labor Rate Controls > Manage Pay Types.
Level 1 Overtime Mapping This field is only enabled for regular, non-overtime pay types.

Level 1 refers to the overtime rate factor, which is a factor greater than 0 but less than 2. Lookup displays only level 1 overtime pay types.

Note: When Time & Expense is co-deployed with Costpoint the overtime factor that determines whether the pay type is Level 1 or Level 2 is located in CostpointPeopleLabor Rate Controls Manage Pay Types.

When overtime is automatically calculated and/or distributed, this setting determines the rate factor (level 1) that will be used for the calculation as well as the pay type to which the hours will be distributed if Pay Type Rules on the Basic Information tab is selected as Timesheet Class.

If a value exists in this field, and you then select the Overtime check box, the existing value is cleared from this field.

Level 1 Overtime Mapping Description This field displays the description assigned to the selected pay type.
Level 2 Overtime Mapping
This field is only enabled for non-overtime pay types. Use this option to map a regular pay type that count towards overtime to a specific level 2 overtime pay type.
Note: Level 2 refers to the overtime rate factor, which is a factor greater than or equal to 2. Lookup displays only level 2 overtime pay types.

When overtime is automatically calculated and/or distributed, this setting determines the rate factor (level 2) that will be used for the calculation as well as the pay type to which the hours will be distributed if Pay Type Rules Source under Overtime Handling is set to Timesheet Class.

If a value exists in this field, and you then select the Overtime check box, the existing value is cleared from this field.
