Use this subtask to assign documents to the sales order (SO) header. These documents may be pre-established within Costpoint, or added by SO.
Select this check box if this document is a reference document (that is, it is not established on the Manage Documents or Release Documents screen in Product Definition). If this check box is not selected, you must enter a document that has been established on the Manage Documents or Release Documents screen.
Enter, or click to select, the ID of the document to associate with this SO header. If you did not select the Reference Doc check box, this field is disabled.
Enter, or click to select, the revision of the document associated with this SO header. A revision is not required if the Allow Multiple Revisions for Each Item check box is not selected in the Corporate Settings group box of the Configure Product Definition Settings screen. If you did not select the Reference Doc check box, this field is disabled.
Enter, or click to select the document type to associate with this SO header. If you did not select the Reference Doc check box, this field is disabled.
For a reference document, optionally enter the name of the document being assigned to this SO header. If the document is already established on the Manage Documents or Release Documents screen, the name defaults in.
For a reference document, enter up to 254 alphanumeric characters to indicate where this document is stored on the network. You can also click the Browse button to access this document from within Costpoint. The entire directory path must be loaded, including the full server name, volume name, and file name.
If the document is already established on the Manage Documents or Release Documents screen, the location defaults in.
Click this button to look up a document by network location.
If this document is established on the Manage Documents or Release Documents screen (that is, it is not a reference document), the status of the document displays here. The system-defined options are:
Unreleased
Released
Obsolete
If this document is established on the Manage Documents or Release Documents screen (that is, it is not a reference document), the document size displays here.
If this document is established on the Manage Documents or Release Documents screen (that is, it is not a reference document), the document media code displays here.
If this document is established on the Manage Documents or Release Documents screen (that is, it is not a reference document), the document Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) code displays here.
If this document is established on the Manage Documents or Release Documents screen (that is, it is not a reference document), the number of sheets in the document displays here.
If this document is established on the Manage Documents or Release Documents screen (that is, it is not a reference document), the organization assigned to the document displays here.
If this document is established on the Manage Documents or Release Documents screen (that is, it is not a reference document), the document maintenance group displays here.
If this document is established on the Manage Documents or Release Documents screen (that is, it is not a reference document), this field displays Y (Yes) if the document is referenced on an engineering change notice (ECN) that is pending. Otherwise, this field displays N (No).
If this document is established on the Manage Documents or Release Documents screen (that is, it is not a reference document), the last engineering change notice associated with this document displays here. You can access engineering change notice information in the Engineering Change Notices module.
