Timesheet Corrections Overview
Timesheet corrections are made either by adjusting or replacing the timesheets.
There are to two types of correcting timesheets:
- Timesheet Adjustments — This type of correction is common for hourly employees. You open the previously processed timesheet and add lines to move, add, or remove hours. You cannot change lines that are already processed.
- Timesheet Replacements — This type of correction is common for salaried employees whose timesheets are either auto-adjusted or have prorated hours. You enter an entirely new timesheet information to replace the previously processed timesheet.
Before you enter new timesheet information, you must click Reverse Timesheet to reverse every line on the processed timesheet. This reverse action creates a negative version of all existing timesheet lines, which cannot be changed, and a positive version, which can be changed. Correct the positive version to reflect how time should have been reported.
You must use this option if the Must Use Reverse Timesheet check box is selected for your class on the Timesheet Classes screen.
