Select the Prorate Hours Upward check box if you want to prorate hours up when an employee works fewer than the adjusted standard number of hours. For example, if this option is selected and an employee enters only 20 hours, all of which are proratable, for a timesheet for which the adjusted standard number of hours is 40, the proration percentage is 200. The proration process increases the hours to 40.
Do not select this option if you only want hours prorated when employees work more than their standard hours.
